David Guetta and Jessica Ledon have called an end to their years-long relationship due to their busy schedules and travel commitments

IBIZA, SPAIN: 'Summer' hitmaker David Guetta has reportedly split from his girlfriend Jessica Ledon after spending seven years together. The pair began dating in 2015 and were always seen cooped up in lovey-dovey moments during romantic vacations and casual strolls. However, that soon stopped after the former couple was last spotted together at the Grammy Awards in April of this year.

The celebrity couple has called an end to their years-long relationship as their busy schedules and travel commitment drifted the pair apart. "David had grown apart from Jess and their lifestyles just weren't compatible anymore. They have so much history together that all of us around them thought they were made for each other but it hasn't worked out that way," an insider told The Sun.

The former love birds may have grown apart but the source believes that they could possibly rekindle their romance in the near future. "They haven’t completely cut contact so some of us are hoping they will patch things up. It’s a real shame because they were a great couple but he isn’t letting himself get hung up about things," said the source to the news outlet. 

The split is primarily because of the time they stay apart due to their professional lives and does not revolve around any personal dispute. "He had to be in Ibiza through the summer for his residency there, whereas she was in the States," the insider added. Thus, many believe that they could get back together if things go right.

While David, 54, is not letting himself get too worked up, his much younger ex-girlfriend Jessica Ledon, 30, seemed to have already moved on to a new phase in life. She posted an image in a black dress and captioned it, "Entering a new era and it’s unapologetic and full of conviction."

The former romantic couple made headlines when the Cuban-born actress was snapped with a diamond sparkler on her ring finger in 2015. The relationship was made official with a promise ring as the 'How deep is your love' hitmaker does not believe in marriages. 

Guetta was previously married to Cathy which lasted 22 years before the pair broke it off in 2014. The former pair share two children - son Elvis, 18, and daughter Angie, 14, whom they raise together.
