Why did 'Love & Hip Hop' stars Apryl Jones and Lil Fizz split? How Omarion's kids may have had a role to play
It would be a colossal understatement to say that everybody was angry and disgusted when Apryl Jones and Lil Fizz made their relationship official. For the uninitiated, the two 'Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood' stars made their relationship official on the show, and fans were far from happy for the new couple because Apryl's new beau happens to be her former husband, Omarion's, close friend and fellow B2K band member.
Everybody had a hard time wrapping their head around how Apryl and Fizz were okay with getting together, considering their respective relationship with Omarion. The couple received a lot of flak for it, but they were so madly in love with each other that they paid no attention to their critics.

While Fizz and Apryl were busy shouting from rooftops about their new relationship, Omarion laid low and made no shady comments about his former wife's new relationship.
The rapper eventually broke his silence about the relationship during an interview with VladTV. He played it cool and suggested that the new couple should "change the narrative" around their relationship.
Omarion said, "I don’t feel no ways, I don’t feel any way about it. I think that if they’re happy, then they should be happy. I think they should change the narrative, though.” "She’s still the mother of my children. When something affects her, it affects my kids, and that affects me. But what she does is, you know, live your life! I think people should do whatever makes them happy. I think they should change the narrative," he added.
Things seemed to be going well between Apryll and Fizz, as they were inseparable. But when hawk-eyed fans noticed that the duo quietly unfollowed each other on social media, rumors of their split began doing rounds. Finally, Apryl confirmed her split while interviewing with Claudia Jordan.
The reality star said, "Umm, you know, Dreuxis a great man and his focus is on Kam. My focus is on my children. We are where we are. I kinda want to leave it there.” Although Apryl didn't explicitly mention the reason for the couple's split, several reports began speculating the sneaky clause Omarion put in their children's custody as the reason for their split.
Omarion and Apryl have two children together. According to reports, Omarion included a clause in the custody arrangement that Fizz can't be around the couple's children. Many believe that this clause may have played a huge role in Apryl and Fizz's split. Hopefully, the former couple will reveal the reason behind their split during their appearance on the upcoming show 'VH1 Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition'.
