ABC's 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' is back after a short hiatus and several celebrity contestants are putting their wisdom to the test to raise funds for a charity that's close to their heart. After Rebel Wilson's impressive $250,000 win, it was Amanda Peet who took to the hot seat and she, without the slightest of doubt left the audience baffled with her quick answers to all the questions asked by the host Jimmy Kimmel.

Peet has already raised $32,000 and will continue playing in the next episode of 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' to make the ultimate prize hers, which she said she would be donating to 'Big Sunday', a charity for the homeless.

Even though Peet is directing the prize money towards charity, she will emerge as the winner of the respective sum at the end of the episode, even if briefly. But did you know how much the 'Dirty John' star is worth otherwise?

Amanda Peet's net worth

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Peet is allegedly worth $100 million. However, it is the combined net worth of her and her husband David Benioff, who is a producer by profession.

The actress began her career with small screen appearances and eventually rose to fame in the 90s by featuring in commercial films. One of her first major roles was as Jacqueline Barrett on the WB Network series 'Jack & Jill' and was also seen on the eighth season of 'Seinfield'. Throughout 2000, she appeared in commercially successful films, including 'Isn't She Great', 'The Whole Nne Yards', 'Changing Lane' and 'Something's Gotta Give', among others.

Apart from a successful career in the entertainment industry, Peet's personal life has also inspired many. She and her husband David share three children together.

Peet and David are also said to own a property in New York City.
