Who stars in ‘Secret Invasion’? Full cast list of the MCU action-adventure series
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Skrulls are an incredibly important part of Marvel, and looks like ‘Secret Invasion’ is finally giving them a chance to shine through while also invading Earth. If there’s one person who needs to be called to help Earth, it isn’t any of the Avengers, but Nick Fury himself. Samuel L Jackson is ready to reprise his role as the beloved character Fury in ‘Secret Invasion’, making it one of the highly-anticipated series, giving ‘Loki’ Season 2 tough competition.
‘Secret Invasion’ will have a lot of exciting elements, the first and foremost being that it has been adapted from a popular and fan-favorite comic storyline. In addition to that, the cast of ‘Secret Invasion’ is flooded with A-list actors and actresses, that go way beyond the legendary Samuel L Jackson.
Who stars in ‘Secret Invasion’?
Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury
When it comes to ‘Secret Invasion’ Jackson is the man of the hour. Jackson and his character both have been an important part of the MCU over the years, and his return was inevitable. Fans are incredibly excited to see Jackson back in action, but by the looks of it, his character is a lot different in ‘Secret Invasion’ than the one fans are used to. ‘Secret Invasion’ could add as many characters as possible, but there’s no doubt that Jackson (minus his eye patch) will steal the show!
Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill
Smulders has made her mark felt in movies and tv shows over the course of her career. She is most popularly known for playing Robin in the series ‘How I Met Your Mother’. While that character is best known, Smulders has Maria Hill is incredibly important when it comes to ‘Secret Invasion’. Prior to this series, Smulders’ role in the MCU has been incredibly brief, but with ‘Secret Invasion’ she is finally getting the recognition she and her character deserve.
Olivia Colman as Sonya Falsworth
Colman’s entry into the MCU has shocked fans all across the globe, and she is set to be an integral part of ‘Secret Invasion’. Playing the character of Falsworth, Colman appears in ‘Secret Invasion’ as an old friend of Fury. In addition to that, she is also an MI6 agent, dedicated to protecting England in the midst of the Skrull invasion. At this point, as much as fans would love to love Falsworth, there is no trusting when it comes to ‘Secret Invasion’, because anyone could be the bad guy (and a Skrull).
Emilia Clarke as G’iah
The beloved ‘Game of Thrones’ star will be making her MCU debut alongside Colman. If anyone was on the fence about watching ‘Secret Invasion,’ her presence will most likely change your mind. Little is known about Clarke’s character G’iah from just the trailer, but she is set to be a Skrull and the daughter of Talos and Soren. G’iah’s biggest strength is shapeshifting, and she is an important part of Marvel comics, and this story arc. If there’s anyone who can be entrusted to play G’iah, it has to be Clarke.
Ben Mendelsohn as Talos
Talos will be an important character in ‘Secret Invasion,’ having previously appeared in ‘Captain Marvel’ and ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home.’ Like humans can be good and bad, the same goes for Skrulls. Talos is a Skrull general, who is honorable and kind and could be Fury’s biggest ally in ‘Secret Invasion’ after Hill. It will be interesting to see whether Talos could potentially turn into the bad guy amidst the invasion on Earth, which is bound to separate humans and Skrulls, creating a villainous divide.
