LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Darkness of Man' is set to be available on Video on Demand starting Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The action-packed film features Jean-Claude Van Damme in the lead role as Interpol operative Russell Hatch.

'Darkness of Man' is directed by James Cullen Bressack, who has also written the script for the film. The film is distributed by Saban Films, which acquired the rights in February 2023.

The central plot of the film is about Russell Hatch trying to protect Jayden (Emerson Min), whom he considers a father figure.

Jayden finds himself in the crosshairs of a brutal turf war between the Russian and Korean mafia fighting for territory in Los Angeles to run their drug business.

He achieved success with action flicks like 'Bloodsport', 'Kickboxer', 'Lionheart', and 'Double Impact', among other films, before experiencing a period where his projects didn't fare as well.

He made a triumphant return to the spotlight as a villain in his role as Jean Vilain in 'The Expendables 2', starring opposite Sylvester Stallone.

Emerson Min plays the role of Jayden in this movie. As a young actor, he has shown remarkable talent in the few roles he's had. Working alongside a legend like Jean-Claude Van Damme is a significant opportunity for him.
