Just as fans were hoping for a collab of the century by the Korean R&B and hip-hop label H1GHR Music, there has been some confusing news to grapple with. Recently, it was announced that the label was going to host a huge artist collab with Jay Park coming together with other artists from H1GHR Music. This included GOT7's Jay B who started his solo career with H1GHR Music as he is friends with Jay Park, who was the CEO of H1GHR Music at the time. But earlier this year, rapper-songwriter and producer Jay Park announced he will be stepping down as CEO, shocking fans.

Now, in a new update, it has been revealed that singer-songwriter Jay B and rapper Sik-K are both exiting the label after their contracts expired, leaving fans confused. It has been reported that GOT7's Jay B had only signed a 1-year contract under H1GHR Music which had expired as of March 2022 but the singer still continued with the label for their recent projects over the last four months. As Jay B joins a new label CDNZA Records as its first artist, there have been a lot of questions about who owns the new label. Fans have already started speculating, drawing their own conclusions.

The REAL reason why GOT7's Jay B left H1GHR Music to sign with new label CDNZA Records

Jay B joins GOT7's 'CEO line', trademarks new music label 528Hz, JUS2 and JJ Project

What is BRB by H1GHR Music?

On July 25, the label, H1GHR Music made an announcement on their Twitter handle with the caption, "H1GHR Music will be right back" as they teased a blurry photo with some artists under the label with the words "BRB D-2" The post featured names of artists like Big Naughty, Jay B, Jay Park, Cha Cha Malone, Haon, Sik-K, GroovyRoom, TRADE L, pH-1, and Park Hyeon-jin. Since this announcement featured most of the artists under the label, fans were sure that the collab was going to be huge but now it seems like 'BRB' is not a collab after all.

Now as Jay B and Sik-K leave H1GHR Music followed by Jay Park who had already left the label months ago, it is being rumored that the new label could be a new home to the artists involved in the 'BRB' project. Among the other artists, pH-1 has raised suspicions amongst fans by deleting all of his Instagram posts. Jay B and Sik-K leaving H1GHR Music all of a sudden without relevant clarifications have fans recalling that the label has been undergoing a "reshuffling of its artists" over the last few years after it was acquired by the Entertainment company, CJENM.

Who owns CDNZA Records?

As there is not much that has been revealed about the new label, fans think Jay B is the new owner of CDNZA Records. Jay B recently made the news as he became CEO of his own label - 528Hz, when he acquired the rights to GOT7 members' subunits - Jus2 (made up of Jay B and Yugyeom) as well as JJProject (made up of Jay B and Jinyoung). As CDNZA announced Jay B as their first and only artist so far, fans are sure that the new label is owned by Jay B too, who will promote his solo career under the new label as well as the future of GOT7's activities with CDNZA Records. However, it seems like fans could have gotten it completely wrong — there is a possibility that all the artists from H1GHR Music are being moved to a new label, one after the other.

'Jay B would suit the role of a CEO'
