Who is Robert Pattinson dating? Actor's girlfriend teared up watching ‘The Batman’
Robert Pattinson’s dating history has always been public but after the public break up with his ‘Twilight’ co-star Kristen Stewart, he has chosen to avoid the limelight. According to reports, Pattinson is currently in a relationship with Suki Waterhouse. The couple has been together for around four years.
An Us Weekly report in August 2018 had said that the actor and Waterhouse, who is a British model, “have been dating for months.” It also mentioned that the two have “known each other and been around each other for a long time” and share a common love for music. But it was in 2019 when Pattinson first publicly but briefly spoke about Waterhouse. While giving an interview to The Sunday Times, when he was asked about his love life, he just replied, “Do I have to?” before adding, “If you let people in, it devalues what love is. If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you'd think it extremely rude. If you put up a wall it ends better.”

Then at the beginning of 2020, rumors of Pattinson and Waterhouse’s engagement started surfacing as the latter was spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger at the Dior dinner party in Paris with her beau. But no official confirmation regarding the same came from the pair.
However, more recently, in February, an insider has claimed that the 35-year-old ‘Tenet’ star and his model girlfriend, who is also an actress and singer, are serious about their future together as they want to “get married and have a family”. The source close to Robert told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY, “For the past few years, Rob has been working non-stop on films. But he has cleared his schedule completely following the release of Batman for a reason.”
They went on to say: “Rob has kept his relationship with Suki private because they both know what it’s like to have public relationships with famous celebrities play out in front of the world. What they have is special and their bond is unbreakable. They both want the same things in life – to get married and have a family together,” before adding, “His friends and family anticipate an engagement soon and his family has been pressuring him to propose to her for some time. They absolutely love Suki, and she is already like a daughter to them. She makes Rob so happy.”
The insider also noted that the duo wants adhere to traditional norms, for example getting married before Waterhouse becomes pregnant. They said: “It is fine that others do it the other way around but that is not how they want to do it. Suki knows that she has met her person and she absolutely sees herself spending the rest of her life with him. They have definitely talked about marriage and having kids, and they’re both on the same page and know that they want this in their lives. After quarantining together and braving out the pandemic together, they feel that they can get through anything.”
In mid-February, Pattinson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he revealed that Waterhouse was moved to tears while watching his film. The ‘Harry Potter’ star said, “It was really her reaction that kind of changed the entire thing [for me], because I’m pretty sure she’s not normally into watching superhero movies. And just seeing that it was capturing her attention the entire time and then she held my hand and touched it [to her face] and I could feel a little tear. And I was like, ‘No way!’”
