The competition is heating up in Netflix's 'Single's Inferno' Season 5, with stakes higher than ever before. Hosted by Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun, and Hanhae, the latest season is turning up the heat with sizzling pairings and intense mind games. To add a fresh twist, Season 5 introduces its first-ever catfish contestant, Jo I-Geon, shaking up the dynamics even further. Furthermore, I-Geon gained recognition from 'Eden' Season 2 for his calm charm and striking presence. He is an actor and acting coach. Born June 5, 1992, he most recently appeared in Netflix's 'The Trunk' and has around 37.9K Instagram followers. To add more, the speculation amplified after spotting a man resembling Jo I-Geon in a 'Single's Inferno' Season 5 poster, though Netflix has not confirmed his appearance. This has got the fans talking about the show's newest catfish.

'Single's Inferno' Season 5 premiered with its first four episodes on Tuesday, January 20, and continues with weekly Tuesday releases leading up to the finale on February 10, as per Lifestyle Asia. Season 5 sticks to its familiar dating format but turns up the intensity, with singles stranded on 'Hell Island' and only mutual connections granting access to luxurious dates on 'Heaven Island.' The season's poster teases drama with the tagline 'a flirting war that crosses the line,' hints at tangled relationships, rivalry, and candid confessions.

Early in Single’s Inferno Season 5, Woo Sung-min emerges as a fan favorite, heading to Paradise twice with Kim Min-gee and Kim Go-eun, placing him at the center of overlapping storylines. Kim Min-gee initially connects with Sung-min but later develops a growing bond with Song Seung-il, adding complexity to her romantic path. Kim Jae-jin’s early pairing with Ham Ye-jin fades after Paradise, prompting him to pursue Lee Joo-young, who later chooses Hyeon-woo.

Meanwhile, Choi Mina-sue emerges as the season's biggest wildcard, exploring multiple connections before forming a seemingly mutual bond with Lim Su-bin. Kim Jae-jin’s early pairing with Ham Ye-jin fades after Paradise, making him pursue Lee Joo-young. However, Joo-young later chooses Hyeon-woo, according to PopRant. Shin Hyeon-woo continues to play it safe, remaining reserved and keeping his options open without making any clear romantic commitments. In contrast, Youn Hyun-jae appears unwavering in his feelings, showing a clear and consistent interest in Go-eun. Meanwhile, Park Hee-sun's journey is also evolving further after initially expressing interest in Lim Su-bin; he now appears to be forming a deeper, more meaningful connection with Mina Sue.
