BURLINGAME, CALIFORNIA: After the success of 'Dr Pimple Popper' and 'My 600-lb Life', TLC brings a brand new medical show, 'Take My Tumor'. Dr Kimberly Moore Dalal would give medical transformation by removing extreme tumors from her patients and would help them to regain their healthy life.

Dr Kimberly hails from New York before moving to California. She is a fellowship-trained surgical oncologist with 20 years of practice. According to her LinkedIn, Dr Kimberly completed a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Biology from Harvard University. The TLC show surgeon pursued a Doctor of Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Dr Kimberly received several fellowships throughout her career. To gain more professional experience, the medical series surgeon completed an internship at the University of California, San Francisco. She currently works as a medical director of Surgical Oncologist at Palo Alto Medical Foundation.

She feels privileged to take care of patients every single day. According to her profile, she was previously a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force. She served as Chief of Surgical Oncology at David Grant US Air Force Medical Center and was deployed to Afghanistan.

Dr Kimberly Moore Dalal takes on 'most challenging cases'

TLC medical series star Dr Kimberly Moore Dalal would witness some of the 'most challenging cases' of her career. She would work alongside Dr Jason Cohen and Dr Ryan F. Osborne to help patients live a tumour-free life. The trailer of 'Take My Tumor' teased that Dr Kimberly would help a woman who has been "covered in over a thousand tumours from her head to her toes."

She also diagnosed a patient with a desmoid, a rare type of tumour. The TLC show Surgical Oncologist would help patients from around the world, who are looking to get their lives back and these surgeons are their last hope.



 

Dr Kimberly Moore Dalal once get rejected for being 'too nice' 

Dr Kimberly Moore Dalal wanted to be a surgeon from a very young age. The TLC show surgeon worked hard to pursue her dreams but once got rejected by an interviewer because she was 'too nice' to be a surgeon. According to reports, Dr Kimberly shared that she majored in Biology in college and took a vertebrate surgery course her senior year.

However, she shared her ambition during a medical school interview, her interviewer burst into laughter. Dr Kimberly revealed that the interviewer told her, "You won't become a surgeon. You're too nice. You don’t have the personality for it." The interviewer's comment didn't stop Dr Kimberly and she continued to pursue her dreams until she became a Surgical Oncologist.

Is Dr Kimberly Moore Dalal married?

Dr Kimberly Moore Dalal is happily married and also has two beautiful kids. The surgeon's partner is supportive of her dreams and wants her to thrive in her career. However, before meeting her husband, Dr Kimberly had a boyfriend who broke her heart.

During her graduation, the TLC show star had a serious boyfriend and wanted to marry him. She was making career decisions without an engagement ring, a marriage or actual children. However, her marriage dreams were soon crashed when her relationship ended. She was left devastated and her ambition to become a surgeon was affected as she failed to earn Bs in her classes.

'Take My Tumor' Season 1 premieres on Wednesday, April 3 at 10 pm ET on TLC.
