Pat Matter

Pat Matter's desire to join a motorcycle club stemmed from a longing for brotherhood and a sense of belonging.

Unlike many others in the outlaw motorcycle club (OMC) life, Matter wasn't a military veteran but embraced the outlaw mentality early on due to his family circumstances. Raised in a tumultuous environment, he faced challenges from a young age, leading to his first arrest at 15.

However, Matter's decision to cooperate with law enforcement after an investigation by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office went against the outlaw code, representing a major breach in biker culture.

Later, Matter and Retired Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Capt. Chris Omodt co-authored for the book, "Breaking the Code: A True Story by a Hells Angels President and the Cop Who Pursued Him".
