Which MCU characters are most likely to make cameos on Disney+ miniseries 'Secret Invasion'? Here's all you need to know about latest spy thriller
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marvel’s giant action spy-thriller feature, ‘Secret Invasion’ just added another layer to MCU’s unique and sprawling storylines. While the new miniseries is an attempt at a spy thriller, it stars a popular cast including ‘Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke and Samuel L Jackson in lead roles. Though the short thrilling series is supported by a bunch of MCU characters, there is a likelihood that other established superheroes might make cameos too.
Disney+ latest addition to Marvel’s superheroes storybook, ‘Secret Invasion’ has many questions surrounding it. Among many, the key one is which high-profile heroes will seemingly partake in this direct sequel of ‘Caption Marvel’. The six-part series has been confirmed to introduce Olivia Colman as Sonya Falsworth, Emilia Clarke as G’iah, Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury, and Kingsley Ben-Adir as Gravik. Additionally, it will also see several past actors reprise their MCU roles including Don Cheadle, Martin Freeman, and Cobie Smulders. For existing MCU character cameos, Marvel needs to be careful to select a few who could realistically appear in the miniseries. Wong/Sorcerer Supreme
Benedict Wong's character, Wong, has made numerous appearances across various projects within the MCU multiverse. He has been seen in movies such as ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, and the series ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’. Marvel Studios seems to favor Wong as a cameo star, suggesting that they may find a way to include the MCU's Sorcerer Supreme in ‘Secret Invasion’. It's possible that the storyline could involve Skrulls impersonating Masters of the Mystic Arts, prompting Wong to seek assistance from Fury in combating the Skrull invasion on Earth.

Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier
There is potential for Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier, to make an appearance in ‘Secret Invasion’. In ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’, Bucky and Sam Wilson joined forces to retrieve Captain America's shield from John Walker and confront the super-soldier group known as the Flag Smashers. Both Bucky and Sam are characters who operate on a more grounded level in MCU. Given that ‘Secret Invasion’ will explore themes of politics and global conflicts, it could serve as an ideal platform for these characters to further develop their storylines.
Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson, could potentially appear in the series ‘Secret Invasion’ as a continuation of her storyline from the film. Since the end of ‘Captain Marvel’, where she set off to find a new home for Skrull refugees, her involvement in ‘Secret Invasion’ would likely focus on her mission and the connection she shares with Nick Fury, played by Samuel L Jackson. Hawkeye/Clint Barton
Jeremy Renner made his debut as Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye, in the 2011 film ‘Thor’. Initially portrayed as an Agent of SHIELD, his subsequent appearances in the Avengers films solidified his position as a vital character in MCU. In Phase 4, the ‘Hawkeye’ series delved deeper into Barton's story, providing further development for his character. Given his history as a former Agent of SHIELD and his close relationship with Nick Fury, it is possible that ‘Secret Invasion’ would be a suitable platform for Hawkeye to make his next appearance in the MCU. Monica gained superhuman abilities after multiple encounters with the Westview Hex, altering her DNA at a cellular level. While Parris is set to reprise her role in ‘The Marvels’, her association with SWORD makes her a fitting candidate for a cameo in ‘Secret Invasion’.
