SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA: Netflix's hit show 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' is returning with five new couples to give them another chance to reconsider their relationship and decide if they want to marry before they face each other at the final altar.

Nick and Vanessa Lachey will host 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' Season 2 and oversee the couple-swapping chaos. The contestants mix and match to discover whether their original relationship is worth fighting for.

In the upcoming season of 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On', five couples Ryann and James, Riah and Trey, Roxanne and Antonio, Lisa and Bryan, and Kat and Alex are ready to risk it all.

The show promises lots of drama as well as interesting moments, it will include flirtations, toasts, tears, and potential breakups triggered by the experimenting of dating. Each person will be sharing three weeks of the possibility of a brand romantically new love.

As the couples mix and mingle in order to choose a new partner, they are expected to have poolside romances, intimate moments in hotel rooms and trolls at a bunch of hotspots.

What's new about 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' Season 2?

'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' will break apart five couples who don't see eye-to-eye on getting married. While one partner wants to say 'I do,' the other isn’t ready to face the altar for one reason or another.

While the faces are totally new, the concept remains the same. Over just eight weeks, the couples will split and enter into a trial marriage with a person from one of the other pairings to decide whether to marry or move on for good.

The experiment will mix up the couples and put them in a 'trial marriage' with a stranger, in hopes that they can get a new perspective on marriage. Stakes are high as couples are facing an existential crisis.

Furthermore, the couple has taken a risk as trial marriages could create new relationships, ending the bonds that existed prior to the show.

'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' Season 2 premiers on Wednesday, August 23 on Netflix.
