BEDFORD, ENGLAND: Netflix's upcoming reality competition show titled 'Squid Game: The Challenge' will premiere soon.

As per Distractify, the forthcoming series, which is based on the South Korean show 'Squid Game', was filmed earlier this year in the United Kingdom. The show was shot across not one but two renowned studios in the United Kingdom.

It has been reported by the media outlet that one of the studios where the filming for the show took place is Cardington Studios in Bedford. The shooting also happened on six giant sound stages at Wharf Studios in Barking, London.

In the spin-off show, the stakes might not be as high as life or death, but the players will still have a lot on the line.

The series was filmed consecutively for 16 days in order to make an impact of a real sense of fear among the contestants of the game within the environment. The filming of the show kicked off in January 2023.

According to Dexerto, the players lived in the sound stages, they didn't leave the stages until they were eliminated from the game. We are pretty sure that every player must have given their 100 percent to survive in the game for as long as possible.

In the trailer of the show, the fans will be able to see how the makers of the show have managed to recreate the set pieces from the original games.
