Where was 'Couples Retreat' Season 3 filmed?

During the summer of 2021, VH1's 'Couples Retreat' Season 2 was filmed at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego, California. This is the same location where the reality show's first season was taped. The cinematographers picked the location because couples, in particular, adore it and have virtually unanimously given it a perfect 9 out of 10 rating on various tour-related platforms. This luxurious resort is located on a 15-acre peninsula at 4000 Coronado Bay Road, Coronado, and features three pools and a full-service marina. A fantastic venue for wealthy visitors, including on-site dining and spa amenities. The greatest thing is that all guest rooms have a flat-screen TV, and San Diego International Airport is only a few miles away.

After moving to MTV, the couples attending the retreat this season are putting everything on the line in Vegas, and they will be driven out of their comfort zones to rediscover each other with the support of guest experts. The show takes a chance on love this season, with six celebrity couples participating in themed activities that demonstrate how a little risk, sacrifice, and compromise can bring huge benefits in a committed partnership.

'Couples Retreat' takes 6 couples to the Vegas Strip

Love can sometimes be a dirty business. And reality television is just more fun. At least for the viewers. Maybe not for the couples involved. AJ and Tony, the hosts, stand by the couples as they zipline across the Vegas Strip, go through wilderness training with a ninja, learn to trapeze with former Cirque du Soleil performers and herd cattle and untamed bulls.

The show's first LGBTQ pair, Bre-Z intends to use her much-needed work break to enjoy and deepen her relationship with her fiancee, Chris Amore. After their wedding, Apollo Nida and Sherien Almufti flew to Las Vegas to film the show. Falynn Pina and Jaylan Pina have come to the retreat to work on their premarital troubles after celebrating their one-year engagement anniversary and almost a year since having their kid. This is the second season of 'Couples Retreat' for Ronnie and Shamari DeVoe, who are struggling with Ronnie's demanding traveling schedule.

This season, Fatboy SSE and Tiana Kimbrough's collective infidelity troubles, as well as Fatboy's extremely public gambling addiction, will be exposed at the Blackjack tables as they work on their trust and communication skills. Rumors of adultery and the discovery of a secret kid with another woman shattered Yung Joc and Kendra Robinson's first year of marriage! Kendra is doubtful whether she will ever be able to trust her husband again, but they both hope that having a relationship counselor and other couples holding them responsible would help them reconcile.

MTV 'Couples Retreat' premieres May 2 on MTV at 9 pm ET/PT.
