'Ex on the Beach: Couples' was shot in Spain, notably on the island of Gran Canaria. Principal filming for the first season of the spin-off series appears to have taken place in the summer of 2022. Let us now look at the exact locations where the couples' relationships are put to the test!
Many crucial moments for 'Ex on the Beach: Couples' were shot on Gran Canaria, often known as Gran Canary Island, which is the second most populated and third biggest of Spain's Canary Islands. The couples, their ex-partners, and the rest of the crew members, in particular, set up camp on the island in and around a scenic and magnificent villa, where they face a series of severe obstacles.
Since this is the spinoff's first season, the show was shot in Spain for the first time. In the original 'Ex on the Beach' series, the filming site changed with each season. Seasons 1, 2, 8, and 11 were all shot in Marbella, Spain's Costa del Sol area. Season 3 was set in the beautiful tourist resort of Cancun, Mexico, while Season 4 was shot in Algarve, Portugal. Several further seasons of 'Ex on the Beach' were shot in other overseas locations. Season 5 was recorded in Koh Samui, Thailand, Season 6 in Crete, Greece, Season 7 in Bali, Indonesia, and Season 9 in Tulum, Mexico.
