For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, that 'FBoy Island' made the move from HBO Max to The CW in 2023. To cut costs, 'Lovers and Liars' and 'FBoy Island' were even shot consecutively in the scenic location of Malibu.
During a conversation with Deadline in June 2023, Heather Olander, the CW reality chief, revealed intriguing details about the filming process of 'Lovers and Liars' in the breathtaking location of Malibu.
“We will make interesting deals … that are cost-effective,” Heather said at that point in time.
She went on to say, "Part of that was by greenlighting two seasons at once, which then can be shot at once. It just made the cost per episode much more financially interesting for us and feasible for us.”
