The CW's 'Superman & Lois' Season 3 finale dates revealed
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: May is quickly approaching, and it's that time of the year again — when broadcast networks reveal their fall schedules. According to reports, there have been a lot of early pickups and cancellations this year. The CW television network recently revealed the dates for the finale episodes of shows such as 'Superman & Lois' Season 3, 'All American,' 'Gotham Knights,' 'Walker,' and others. But others, like 'The Flash,' 'Riverdale,' 'DC's 'Stargirl,' and 'Nancy Drew,' are just a few of the CW shows that will end their runs this summer, according to the network.
'Superman & Lois,' starring Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Alex Garfin, and others, is now in its third season and has received a lot of positive feedback for its captivating stories and performances by cast members since its premiere in 2021. Furthermore, the pilot episode of 'Superman & Lois' was the most-watched premiere of any CW show since 2019. Many viewers appreciate that 'Superman & Lois' is self-contained and distinct from the Arrowverse, as well as the fact that it is the first series to focus primarily on Clark Kent as a father, as played by Tyler Hoechlin.

When will the season finale episodes premiere?
The network has announced that the Season 3 finale episode of ‘Superman & Lois’ will premiere on June 27, at 8/7c whereas the Season 5 finale episode of ‘All American’ is going to air on May 15 at 8 PM. ‘Gotham Knights’ will also wrap up its freshman run with a finale episode airing directly after the ‘Superman & Lois' finale at 9 pm on June 27.
‘Walker’ will air its season three finale on Thursday, May 11 at 8 pm with ‘The Flash’ ending its run on the network by premiering the final episode of the series on Wednesday, May 24 at 8 pm. Cole Sprouse, KJ Apa starrer, ‘Riverdale’ which is inspired by Archie Comics is also heading towards the end along with ‘Nancy Drew’ and the final episodes will air on Wednesday, Aug 23 at 8 and 9 pm, respectively.
Is ‘Superman & Lois' returning with Season 4?
Fans of 'Superman & Lois' are still waiting for the network to announce whether or not the series will be renewed for Season 4. It helps that the show is not part of the 'Arrowverse' and thus not to dependent on the other superhero CW shows' fates. It also has a rather unique perspective, explored never in other media — Clark Kent as a father. Even though ‘Superman & Lois’ is set outside of the official Arrowverse, the CW appears to be preparing to launch a new DC universe as the Arrowverse is slowly dwindling in light of Nexstar’s 2022 acquisition of the network.
The CW has a habit of renewing the series before the current season concludes. Seasons 2 and 3 have been set to premiere in March 2021 and 2022, respectively. Because Superman & Lois Season 3 premiered later than usual in the year, it's understandable that the renewal hasn't happened yet. In an interview with ScreenRant, actor Wolé Parks who plays Steel in the Arrowverse, stated that he and the rest of the cast are hopeful that the show will be renewed for a fourth season.
He added, “Do I think we’re going to get another season? Yes, if I’ve had to put money on it, I do think we get one more season at least. But I don’t know; again, it’s out of my control. That’s something where I just have to, as a person, just accept that life is very fluid. I know that I’ll be okay regardless and even if this somehow ends up being the last season, which I don’t think it is, but if it does, I’m just happy to have been a part of this process. We have amazing fans, we truly do, and they’re great with the show.” 'Superman & Lois' Season 3 is currently streaming on CW Network with new episodes every week.
