ATLANTA, GEORGIA: HGTV's 'Lil Jon Wants To Do What?' is set to return for Season 2 after legendary rapper Lil Jon impressed fans with his out-of-the-box renovation ideas during Season 1. The Grammy-winner will once again team up with interior designer Anitra Mecadon to push homeowners outside their comfort zones with incredible transformations that are beyond their wildest dreams.

In the upcoming season, Lil Jon and Anitra are to tackle impossible renovations of skeptical homeowners who won't always be on board with the whacky ideas proposed by the duo of longtime friends. Notably, the two met when Anitra was enlisted to help the hip-hop star renovate his own home, leading to the idea of them convincing people to accept spaces designed with the duo's over-the-top features.

Where was 'Lil Jon Wants To Do What?' Season 2 filmed?

Lil Jon and Anitra will take on more awe-inspiring projects, including turning a dated colonial-style home into a futuristic dance club that features an enormous 40-inch disco ball in 'Lil Jon Wants To Do What' Season 2. The dynamic duo will also transform an unused space into a movie room kitted out to mimic a posh private jet fuselage complete with curved walls, luxe seating, and a cool copper-topped bar. 'Lil Jon Wants To Do What?' is primarily filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. Notably, the rapper and Anitra are from the area, making them familiar with what the locals like. However, some episodes are also set in the residential district of Buckhead, which is situated in northern Atlanta. Hence, in Season 2, viewers can expect the duo to help families in urban as well as suburban locations transform their homes with quirky and complex designs, setting the spaces apart from the average Atlanta residence.

Renovator duo to turn bold creative visions into realities

'Lil Jon Wants To Do What?' Season 2 will feature eight thrilling episodes with Lil Jon and expert builder Anitra, who will try to push their bold creative vision to new heights, maxing out homes with over-the-top features. "We went bigger, bolder and way outside the box for these families. It's been an incredible experience and I'm excited that soon we get to share it with everyone. Get ready for a wild ride!" Lil Jon shared with HGTV.

The duo is to kick off the new season with an over-the-top basement renovation for clients Chris and Dana, who want to add an epic entertainment area for the whole family. According to HGTV, the homeowners will give Lil Jon and Anitra complete creative control to dream up a renovation and design that's likely to go beyond the family's expectations. From the sitting area designed to look like a sleek hotel lobby and the upscale sports bar to the kids' game room and home theatre with a 100-inch screen, the duo will take Lil Jon's unprecedented renovation ideas and bring them to life.

HGTV's 'Lil Jon Wants To Do What?' Season 2 premieres on Monday, July 10, at 9 pm ET.
