LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Thomas Randolph, 69, is spending the final stage of his life in state prison, serving a 60-year sentence.

The Nevada-based man was arrested in 2009, a few months after his sixth wife, Sharon Causse, was killed in their house in what initially appeared to be a case of home invasion.

The chilling case is now put under a microscopic lens by Investigation Discovery in its latest docu-series to let viewers understand the timeline of events and what led to his conviction.

In 2009, cops arrested Thomas Randolph for killing Sharon Causse and Michael Miller in 2008.

It is reported that he hired Michael Miller to kill his wife Sharon. When Randolph and Sharon returned from a date night one evening, Miller shot Sharon. Randolph then killed Miller and later told cops that he shot the masked man after finding his wife shot to death.

The prosecutors stated that Miller orchestrated his wife's killing to claim $300,000 of insurance money.

In the first trial, Randolph was sentenced to death for the double murders. However, due to his age and appeal in court, the case went into retrial and he was finally sentenced to 60 years in prison in April 2024.

Throughout his trial, he pleaded innocent and went on to blame the victim's daughter, reports Las Vegas Review Journal.

Thomas Randolph has been married six times and four of his wives are dead. The killing of his sixth wife is quite similar to the death of his second wife, Becky Gault.

Three years after marriage, Gault was found dead with a bullet in her skull at their home and Randolph walked home with $500,000 from her life insurance policy.

His fourth wife, Francis Thomas allegedly died from botched heart surgery in 2004 followed by the death of his fifth wife, Leona Stapleton due to cancer, as claimed by Randolph.

The Sun reports that his third wife Gayna Allmon believes he tried to kill her as well. While they were married, Randolph tried to shoot her and the bullet hit the kitchen wall.

Until his conviction, it remained unclear if he was actually a serial killer or was just an unlucky man when it came to love. And thus, he gained the title of "The Black Widower".
