Where is Lydia Arleen now? Uche Okoroha accuses 'Love is Blind' star of 'concealing facts' as she stalked ex-BF to Netflix show
HOUSTON, TEXAS: Netflix's 'Love Is Blind' Season 5 star Lydia Arleen seems to be enjoying herself in Chicago, Illinois. Ahead of the finale, the star posted a photo of her on Instagram, saying, "Love is not supposed to make sense, that's why pursuing it makes it an act of bravery."
The star recently celebrated her birthday as she reached the age of 32. Uploading a picture of herself in a blue floral dress, Lydia wrote, "This is #32." As of now, she has not been uploading any photos with James Milton Johnson or any other potential boyfriend on her feed.
Ahead of the release of 'Love Is Blind' Season 5 finale, Lydia has been accused of "stalking" her way on the Netflix show as she got to know that her ex, Uche Okoroha, was going to be in the show.
When asked on 'Miss Understood Podcast' whether he knew Lydia was going to be on the show, Uche replied, "I did not know she was going to be on the show."
However, when asked whether he thinks Lydia knew he was going to be on the show, Uche claimed, "She absolutely did know that I was going to be on the show or at least she had some idea that I might be on the show."
Uche then went on to explain the process of being cast on the show and how Lydia made her way to the Netflix show after realizing her ex was going to be there. The star claimed, "Lydia had a conversation with a few of the girls from the cast."
He went on to accuse Lydia of "checking" who he was following on Instagram every week. Uche said, "She noticed that I was following somebody new and she saw that was the casting producer and she clicked over to their Instagram profile and she saw "casting for 'Love is Blind' so she was like "Oh Ok" so she applied to be on 'Love is Blind'."
Uche revealed that after Lydia applied for the show, she made sure to block him so that no one would know she was connected to him.
He went on to slam his ex-GF, asking, "Why conceal the fact that you knew somebody was going through the casting process that you knew and you used to date?" He further called out Lydia for saying to fellow cast members that she had a feeling she was going to meet someone from her past.
Lydia Arleen claims to be 'first Puerto Rican' to get to 'Love is Blind' altar
Lydia is from Puerto Rico, indeed she is a Latina. The star says in an interview with Netflix, "I'm the first Puerto Rican that got (to the altar) in Love is Blind, and they’re not used to it."
While she may be the first Puerto Rican to get this far, it seems Lydia is not the first Latina to get to the Netflix show's altar. Before her, we saw Nancy Rodriquez coming to the show, who was also a Latina of Mexican descent.
Lydia dubs herself as a "loud personality." She says, "I don't think that society is used to seeing someone as loud, strong, and confident as I am. They typically go for the people that go by society’s standards and don’t necessarily feel the way I do, talk the way I do, or express themselves the way I do. This is not usually what you see."
Will James Milton Johnson say 'No' to Lydia Arleen at 'Love is Blind' Season 5 altar?
Uche has warned James Milton Johnson ahead of the altar. As of now, it is not confirmed what will be Milton's decision. But he has definitely been shaken by the drama created by Ucke and Lydia.
In the preview clip, we see Lydia saying to Milton, "What am I doing wrong?" It seemed to be after the altar scene, hinting at the possibility of Milton saying no.
