LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: With an engagement on the horizon, 'The Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner made the terrible choice of sending Faith Martin home as he narrowed down his last two ladies – a move that left the frontrunner "shattered."

Fans were heartbroken when she returned to the ABC show, only this time as a studio audience.

Following her elimination from 'The Golden Bachelor', Faith seems busy with her career involving music and radio.

If social media is any indication, Faith is making some wise choices, including going on a date with one star from 'Euphoria'.

However, when fans spotted Faith in the studio audience, visibly crying, they couldn't help but criticize the network.

On X, angry fans asked, "WHY ARE THEY SHOWING FAITH CRYING LEAVE HER THE F ALONE ABC."

While another wondered, "WHY WOULD THEY SHOW FAITH CRYING."

One user requested, "CAN WE MAYBE NOT SHOW LIVE FOOTAGE OF FAITH CRYING DURING THIS WATCH PARTY???"

A fourth person noted, "FAITH’S IS NOT IMPRESSED…"

One upset fan wrote, "Faith crying in the corner … I hope she’s okay because I AM STILL NOT."

Another one added, "Stop showing Faith. I cant take it."

Why did 'The Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner and Faith Martin break up?

The high school teacher was upset when she did not earn the last rose. Faith has had time to ponder now that the program is over, and she believes she knows what went wrong.

Faith feels her dismissal was due to lifestyle differences.

Fans of 'The Golden Bachelor' were stunned when Faith did not receive a rose from Gerry, but after some time and space, Faith understands why. At the very least, she believes she understands what went wrong.

Faith said in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that Gerry probably gave Theresa Nist a rose because of their "contrasting lifestyles."

She isn't the only one who believes that's where everything went wrong.

Faith Martin tried to get Gerry Turner to reconsider dumping her

Gerry had to confront Faith after removing her from 'The Golden Bachelor' on the Women Tell All episode.

Faith stated on national television that she had her walls up for nearly 30 years and that Gerry had injured her because she had let them down.

Even though he ended the relationship, the titular bachelor said that it meant something to him.

"It was not nothing. Believe me, I have thought about that night and those moments where I had told you that I loved you, and in those moments, I did," he continued, "I genuinely loved you. I felt like I had built and created something along with you only to destroy it in a brief moment."

The 61-year-old appeared saddened that the romance was gone, and body language expert Judi James asked The Mirror if Faith had any chance of regaining Gerry's heart.

"Faith’s body language looks much more authentic than Gerry’s," Judi pointed out.

"Some of her proximity and truncated touch signals suggest she is still hoping he will change his mind," she added.

"It’s so hard for me to go back to that night because, leaving, I was in my walls-up mode, feeling like, ‘If I can just get home, I can cry at home,'" Faith said in an interview with TheWrap.

"I would say it hit me the following day when a producer called and said, ‘How are you?’ and then it was like two hours on the phone with Eric crying my eyes out."

Faith described not receiving Gerry's final two roses as "devastating" after meeting her family, children, and grandkids earlier on her hometown date.

"Even though you never know how things are going to go, it was still very unexpected in a lot of ways," said Faith. "I certainly had to process through a gamut of emotions."

Faith's family was astounded by her removal after witnessing Faith and Gerry exchange "I love you's" earlier that week.

"I have the most amazing family, but I'm not going to lie, my kids felt pretty devastated," she said. "They saw me happy for the first time in a very long time, and they were so excited for me."

'The Golden Bachelor' airs Thursdays on ABC at 8 pm ET
