SARASOTA, FLORIDA: 'Married At First Sight' Season 1 couple Jamie Otis and Dogus Hehner have been one of the few couples who have happily remained together since their time on the Lifetime show. The couple still going strong and has been enjoying their life in Floria.
Jamie and Dogus recently appeared on 'MAFS' Cast Tell-All and celebrated their tenth anniversary in a very sweet way. As they wrapped up the episode, Dogus bent to one knee and proposed to Jamie with a stunning ring. The couple got engaged during the episode and celebrated the occasion with champagne.
Dogus expressed his love for Jamie leaving her surprised with the proposal. The 'MAFS' power couple have been together since they exchanged vows on the Lifetime show on March 23, 2014. The couple had their ups and downs but they decided to always stick together.
Lifetime show star Jamie reflected on the struggles of their relationship and said, "Whether you're married at first sight or not, when you stick with the same person day in and day out, through all those struggles and it's just so darn hard, but when you do it and you get to the other side, it is so worth it."
Jamie Otis reflects on Dogus Hehner's secret medication for addiction
During 'MAFS' Cast Tell-All, Jamie Otis addressed her husband Dogus Hehner's addiction. She revealed during the episode that Dogus was taking secret medication that he hid from her "to stay off the addiction... to stay sober."
However, Dogus admitted that he recently came clean about his medication. Jamie shared the clip from the episode and wrote, "I never knew my husband was @see opioid addict until I found an empty Suboxone wrapper in the toilet bowl that he was trying to flush down so I wouldn't see it."
She revealed, "! We Wes Wed ds was about 7 or 8 months pregnant with our daughter." The Lifetime show star further explained, "He never told me he had died from this addiction because he was ashamed, embarrassed and wanted to hide it deep down inside of him."
How many kids do Dogus Hehner and Jamie Otis have?
'MAFS' couple Dogus Hehner and Jamie Otis share two kids and would soon welcome twins. Jamie had a few heartbreaking miscarriages before she was blessed with a daughter and a son. Jamie and Dogus were expecting their first child in 2016 but faced miscarriage. They never lost hope and welcomed their daughter Henley Grace in 2017.
Sadly, Jamie experienced a second miscarriage in January 2019 after she announced the exciting news of another pregnancy on Christmas Day 2018. Jamie and Dogus announced their third pregnancy in 2019 and welcomed their son, Hendrix Douglas in May 2020. However, Jamie made a surprise announcement in February 2024 and revealed that she was expecting twins.
