‘Hunting Party’ Season 2 goes on hiatus after chilling episode 4 — here’s when Melissa Roxburgh show returns
Bex Henderson (Melissa Roxburgh) and her elite team's hunt for serial killers is currently on hold in 'The Hunting Party' Season 2. Following the high-stakes Episode 4, featuring a chilling guest appearance by Elizabeth Gillies as a killer masseuse, fans were eagerly awaiting what comes next. However, the series took an unexpected break due to the Winter Olympics, leaving viewers wondering when the remaining episodes will finally be released.
As per reports, 'The Hunting Party' Season 2 Episode 5 will air on Thursday, February 26, at 10/9c on NBC and stream on Peacock, with weekly episodes resuming afterward. Apart from being available on Netflix, the first four episodes can also be streamed on Peacock. Fans awaiting the release of 'The Hunting Party' Season 2, Episode 5, can look forward to seeing Kelsey Grammer in a guest role as cult leader and serial killer, Noah Cyrus. The promo gives viewers a glimpse into the search for the "narcissistic psychopath" as tensions rise in the upcoming episode.
Episode 6 is set to welcome Jefferson White on the guest lineup as influencer-obsessed killer Lou Kaplan. Episode 8 is set to reunite Roxburgh with her 'Manifest' co-star Josh Dallas. Dallas is reportedly playing the serial killer known as the Connecticut Cobbler, as per Variety. The first four episodes of Season 2 also had popular guest stars. The premiere episode of Season 2 kicked off with Eric McCormack as the infamous killer Ron Simms, while Episode 2 brought in Niecy Nash-Betts as Detective Erica Burke, whose past connection to a serial killer complicated Henderson's investigation.
Episode 4 turned especially dark with Gillies portraying Amanda Weiss, a neck-snapping murderer known as 'The Masseuse.' When it comes to the main cast of 'The Hunting Party' Season 2, at the center is Roxburgh, who reprises her role as FBI criminal profiler Henderson, who is pulled back into the field to track down the most dangerous escaped inmates from the covert prison known as the Pit. Working closely with her are CIA agent Jacob Hassani (Patrick Sabongui), former Pit guard Shane Florence (Josh McKenzie), tech specialist Jennifer Morales (Sara Garcia), and Oliver Odell (Nick Wechsler), whose shady past continues to raise questions about his true motives.
