Season 5 of 'The Handmaid's Tale' is at an interesting juncture because no one could have imagined in their wildest dreams that June and Serena would be working together. Since the very beginning, June has been trying to demolish Gilead and everyone associated with it. June (Elisabeth Moss) mercilessly killed Commander Fred Waterford in Season 4 finale and had already made up her mind to kill Serena as well because she feels that Serena is equally dangerous. However, the ending of Episode 6 saw Serena doing the unthinkable and saving June from the inevitable.
Meanwhile, in the seventh episode of the series, we saw both women sharing things with each other. But things got a bit crazier when June had to help Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) in giving birth to her baby. Yes, Serena is now a mom and she has named her son Noah. They discuss various things and Serena tells her why she didn't kill June even when she had the perfect chance. Both Elisabeth Moss and Yvonne Strahovski were truly magnificent in this sequence. The birth of Serena's child brought them closer and that's why they kept on sharing things with each other.

The ending of the episode was really emotional and you genuinely start to feel bad for Serena after she is taken to a detention center and her child is taken away from her. This was really hard to see and now that they have taken her child away from her, it will be interesting to see if June helps her or if she just lets her stay there and gets punished for everything bad she has done in her life.
