LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: FOX's quasi-military training show 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test' was renewed for a second season, which is scheduled to premiere on September 25 at 9 pm ET.

The show is set to feature 14 celebrities who will put their lives at risk to finish the grueling military training and brave the odds across New Zealand's remote mountains. 

What is 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test' Season 2 about?

Inspired by the hit British show 'SAS: Who Dares To Win', the first installment of 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test' was a hit and grabbed an impressive amount of eyeballs.

The show welcomes celebrity contestants from different genres, and they are subjected to demanding and dangerous special forces and military training exercises in a hostile environment while being by real-life military coordinators.

As there is no elimination from this show, the contestants can quit of their own accord. It is fair to say that the participants are pushed to the edge of their capabilities both mentally and physically.
