In 2017, Hulu took the world by storm by introducing one of the finest dramas of all time in the form of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’. Set in a world where fertility rates have collapsed as a result of sexually transmitted diseases and environmental pollution, women are facing a lot of difficulties in leading a life that is honorable. However, a woman named June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) tries to escape the totalitarian government and reunite with her husband and her daughter that were taken away from her. The first season turned out to be a huge success and went on to win eight Primetime Emmys, including Outstanding Drama Series.

Since 2017, the Hulu series has spawned three more seasons and took forward June’s story in the most riveting fashion. However, it seems June is set to viewers on an enthralling ride once again as Hulu prepares to launch Season 5 in September 2022. The fifth season was renewed even before the fourth season premiere on the streaming service and is expected to be the darkest edition yet.
