Putting an end to the long silence that followed the conclusion of the immensely popular third season of 'FROM', MGM+ has recently unveiled the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Season 4 of the show. 'FROM' aired its debut season back in February 2022, and the uncanny zeitgeist of the sci-fi horror show, one that blends in elements of the macabre with a keen sense of the supernatural, catapulted the narrative to instant fame and widespread acclaim.

According to Forbes Magazine, 'FROM' Season 4 can be expected to further unravel the identity of the mysterious Man in Yellow. The teaser kicks off with the sinister old man presenting himself at his spookiest, remarking, 'What happens next is my favourite part.' The teaser then cuts from a close-up of him smiling ravenously to Julie screaming. We see that the words 'Knowledge comes at a cost' are painted on a barn wall. This is a callback to the Season 3 moment during which the Man in Yellow slit Jim Matthews's throat.

As familiar shots of the returning characters on the MGM+ flash by in the teaser, Boyd ominously states, 'If we push too hard, something will push back.' In its closing moments, an arm is seen grabbing Boyd, according to a ScreenRant report. Season 3 pushed the trapped characters to the edge and visibly upset the status quo of the haunted town, thereby leading its inhabitants to seek ways to make good on their escape. It can be expected that Season 4 will build on the knowledge Jade and Tabitha have gained about reincarnation.

The official plot synopsis for the upcoming season reads, "In Season Four, the closer the residents of town get to the answers they seek, the more terrifying their search becomes. Who is the Man in Yellow, and what does he want? Will Jade and Tabitha’s revelation be the key to finally going home? How much longer can Boyd hold the town together, even as his body and mind are falling apart? And what role will the town’s most recent arrival play in the events to come? Season Four will open doors that some in town will end up wishing had remained closed."

The ensemble cast includes Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno,  Hannah Cheramy, A.J. Simmons, Robert Joy, Avery Konrad, and Scott McCord. Julia Doyle is a new addition to the cast and will play Sophia. The show is created by John Griffin and directed by Jack Bender, with Jeff Pinkner serving as the showrunner. 'FROM' Season 4 premieres exclusively on MGM+ on April 19 at 9 p.m. ET.
