'From' star's unexpected tease hints season 4 could arrive much sooner than expected
At times, the best news comes without an official announcement or a press release, but just a passing comment that sorts everything out in the minds of fans. This is one of them. Fans of 'From' finally have a rough idea of when the series is coming back onto screens, thanks to Catalina Sandino Moreno, who plays Tabitha Matthews. She's one of the residents who find themselves trapped within this scary township, where night always has other plans and living is never a guarantee. Sandino recently spoke with The Direct and revealed with a wink that season 4 might come a little quicker.
"I don't know exactly," she replied when asked when it might be released, "I think it's coming out March, maybe April. But it's coming out." Moreno sounded excited while talking about the upcoming season. She described watching 'From' as strangely addictive, comparing it to "eating a [can of] Pringles." Easy to watch. Hard to stop. That kind of show. Production on season 4 officially wrapped back in November 2025, and MGM+ has already confirmed that 'From' will return sometime in 2026, alongside 'The Institute' Season 2, as per ScreenRant. Moreno's comments now suggest that 'From' will arrive first, maybe in the early months of the year rather than later.
The timing actually makes a lot of sense. Season 3 aired its finale on November 24, 2024. That means fans have been sitting with unanswered questions and unsettling images for well over a year. Still, finishing filming in November 2025 and releasing by spring 2026 would count as a fairly quick turnaround by today's streaming standards. 'From' premiered in 2022 with little fanfare or hype, which was okay, as the world didn't need yet another series with massive hype. Yet, as time passed, the series gradually gained popularity through word-of-mouth publicity in addition to some alarming plot threads and a storyline filled with confusion and fear.
People stuck around just to see what happened next, and the show slowly turned into one of MGM+'s most talked-about originals. The cast has played a big part in that growth. Alongside Moreno, the series features Harold Perrineau as Sheriff Boyd Stevens, David Alpay as Jade Herrera, and Elizabeth Saunders as Donna Raines. The supporting lineup includes Avery Konrad, Chloe Van Landschoot, Ricky He, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, and Scott McCord. Just so you know, the latest season concluded with the death of a key character. Major reveals forced viewers to rethink many parts of the story.
Also, a frightening new presence known as the "Man in Yellow," played by Douglas E. Hughes, was also introduced. His entry alone raised dozens of new questions. Some long-running puzzles were finally explained in season 3, but the Township is far from finished with its residents. There are still rules no one fully understands, creatures that don't behave the way they should, and motivations that remain hidden just out of reach. Season 4 is expected to handle many of these threads.
