When will 'FBI' Season 5 Episode 1 air on CBS?
Dick Wolf has been responsible for giving some of the most captivating police procedural dramas in the last 30 years. His journey as a creator started in 1989 with ‘Gideon Oliver’, but his 1990 series ‘Law & Order’ went on to become a roaring success and ran on NBC for 20 seasons. Since then, he has been a part of several amazing dramas, including the ‘FBI’ series. The ‘FBI’ franchises began in 2018 and opened to rave reviews. Most importantly, it received a lot of love from the viewers.
The mother series, titled ‘FBI’, primarily focuses on the inner workings of the New York office criminal division of the Federal Bureau Investigation (FBI). The entire team is responsible for keeping people safe from all the heinous crimes happening around the state. The first four seasons have been immensely successful and the average viewership for each season has been more than 10 million.

When will ‘FBI’ Season 5 Episode 1 premiere on CBS?
In May 2022, it was announced that the flagship show ‘FBI’ and spinoffs ‘FBI: Most Wanted’ and ‘FBI: International’ received two-season renewals and will be returning for Season 5 and Season 6. After weeks of wait, CBS officially announced the date of Season 5 premiere and the show is coming earlier than you expected. As per CBS, the new season will be making its way to the network on Tuesday, September 20, at 8 pm EST. In short, every episode of Season 5 will be airing on Wednesdays.
The first episode of ‘FBI’ Season 5 will see the team in a panic because their sting operation to rescue a massive bomb from an illegal broker leads them to discover that the device is already in the wrong hands. Titled ‘Hero’s Journey’, the episode sees series regulars Missy Peregrym (Special Agent Maggie Bell), Zeeko Zaki (Special Agent Omar Adom Zidan), Jeremy Sisto (ASA Jubal Velentine), Alana De La Garza (SA Isobel Castille), John Boyd (SA Stuart Scola), and Katherine Renee Turner (SA Tiffany Wallace) making an appearance.
