LANSING, MICHIGAN: 'Escaping Twin Flames', a three-part docuseries, is all set to drop on November 8 at 3 am ET exclusively on the streaming platform Netflix.

The upcoming series will shed some light on the inner workings of the controversial online community of Twin Flames Universe, a supposed cult run by Shaleia and Jeff Divine. 



 

How to watch 'Escaping Twin Flames'?

Viewers will be able to watch 'Escaping Twin Flames' on Netflix.

Those who don't have access to Netflix can subscribe to its Standard with Ads plan for $6.99 per month. Those who don't like watching ads can pick the Standard plan, which costs $15.99 per month. 

What is 'Escaping Twin Flames' about?

For the unversed, 'Escaping Twin Flames', is a documentary series that is helmed by Cecilia Peck. The show chronicles the world of Twin Flames Universe, which is a cult run by Shaleia and Jeff Divine. 

The docuseries features the interviews of the former members of the organization. In addition to this, it also explores the allegations of indoctrination and abuse, as the series tells the story of a group of women who were allegedly "recruited, indoctrinated, [and] abused" by the Twin Flames Universe.  

According to the series' press release, those who are a part of the Twin Flames Universe are sold online classes that guarantee a "harmonious union"  to one's true love.

The series prefaces that there is a darker side to the universe of Twin Flames as it "preys on people looking for love," and makes use of disturbing tactics to do so including "encouraging stalking behavior" and "manipulating gender identities." 

As per the filmmakers, they are still recruiting new members in their group.

While having a chat with PEOPLE Magazine they said, "The main motivation we all shared was to bring the ongoing abuse to a stop and to help the current members leave and recover," about creating the series. 

Who stars in 'Escaping Twin Flames'?

The most prominent figures in 'Escaping Twin Flames', are Shaleia "Megan Plante" and Jeff "Ayan" Divine, the creators of the Twin Flame Universe. They met in 2012 and shortly after launched a blog, 'Awakened Intimacy', and started creating videos surrounding their relationship. 

Eventually, the couple founded the Twin Flames Universe, promising others to help them find their one true love. 

What's the latest buzz about 'Escaping Twin Flames'?

Netflix's upcoming show 'Escaping Twin Flames' will revolve around the world of Twin Flames Universe, an active cult run by Shaleia and Jeff Divine.

In the official trailer of the series, a victim shared that she felt that she had found people that she could "relate to and trust" while on her journey to true love. On the other hand, another victim alleged that what the leaders Jeff and Shaleia do "isn’t about love, it’s about control."
