When is Mnet’s 'Kingdom' airing? K-pop groups ATEEZ, Stray Kids to join The Boyz on reality TV show
Mnet dropped the biggest spoiler regarding their new reality TV show ‘Kingdom’ on the stage of MAMA 2020 which shows 4th generation K-pop sensations ATEEZ, Stray Kids eyeing the same ‘Kingdom’ crown as ‘The Boyz’ who previously won the ‘Road to Kingdom’ reality TV, confirming their position on the lineup of ‘Kingdom’. A Korean media report reveals that Mnet has confirmed the news stating "The Boyz, ATEEZ, and Stray Kids are scheduled to participate in ‘Kingdom.'
Mnet’s ‘Kingdom’ which is a counterpart of ‘Queendom’ (2019) was originally scheduled for 2020. But due to Covid 19 restrictions, the channel has reportedly decided to film the show on January 2021 instead. A Korean TV media suggests that the show would premiere in February 2021. A Mnet official shared, “In preparation for Kingdom, which will air its first episode early next year, we have been contacting various labels.” 'Road to Kingdom' continued from April 30 to July 2020, where The Boyz emerged victoriously.
Prior to 'Kingdom' kickstarting its episodes from April 2021, Mnet has announced a pre-show titled ‘Introduction Stage to Kingdom'.

The latter two groups will be challenging the former through the new concept reality show. As the officials confirm the news, fans are taking to Twitter to ask who else will be joining them. The Boyz is also dropping a Christmas single ‘Christmassy’ on December 7. Prior to that, the K-pop stars will be interacting with the fans through a Vlive chat before the single drops. The group has also shared scrapbook-like teaser concept photos prior to the single release. ‘Christmassy’ drops at 6 pm KST.
