When and where will the 95th Academy Awards air?
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It is that time of the year again, one of the most prestigious award ceremonies is about to take place which validates every movie and movie star, it is time for the 95th Academy Awards. However, last year's Academy Award ceremony aka the Oscars will be marked in the history of Academy Awards due to the Will Smith slapping Chris Rock. It is safe to say that incident was so controversial and shocking which made the oscar authorities take serious action against the 'Emancipation' actor. However, it is a new dawn, a new day and of course, a new year which means a new set of movies and actors will be bagging this prestigious award this year. Everyone is speculating about who will win the "Best Picture" award as big movies like: 'Everything Everywhere All at Once,' 'Tar,' 'Avatar: The Way of Water,' and 'The Banshees of Inisherin' are nominated. When are the Oscars?
The Oscars will be held Sunday, March 12, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The ceremony is set to begin at 8 p.m. EST and be broadcast live on ABC. Additionally, the 95th Annual Academy Awards will be following suit with its previous iterations and be a live premiere on television. That means you'll need either access to cable or some other service that allows for live television programming. Services that provide live television include Hulu Live TV, YouTube TV, and Fubo TV. Let's hop on to the host next, Jimmy Kimmel will host for the third time and the first time since 2018. That was also the last Oscars to feature a solo host. The show went hostless for several years after Kimmel’s last outing. Last year, Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes hosted as a trio. In an ad for this year’s show styled after 'Top Gun: Maverick,' Kimmel made his humble case for being the right person for the job while noting that he can’t get slapped because “I cry a lot.”
Who is presenting the awards this year?
