WESTPORT, CONNECTICUT: 'Batman' voice actor Kevin Conroy died at 66 on Thursday, November 10. 'He will be sorely missed'

Conroy's co-star, Diane Pershing, who played Poison Ivy 'Batman: The Animated Series', remembers her friend and posted on Facebook, "Very sad news: our beloved voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy, died yesterday. He's been ill for a while but he really put in a lot of time at the cons, to the joy of all of his fans. He will be sorely missed not just by the cast of the series but by his legion of fans all over the world. Below are pictures of Kevin with Loren Lester who plays Robin another with me and and Tara Strong who is in the later episodes of Batman cartoons. And then finally, one of Kevin and me in front of the huge audiences we used to get when we did our panels. RIP, friend."

Another voice artist, John DiMaggio, remembered Controy and wrote, "I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Kevin Conroy. He was kind, talented, and brilliant. What a loss, way too young. A very sad day. May he Rest In Peace."

Mark Hamill also remembered his friend in a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter that read, "Kevin was perfection." He continued, "He was one of my favorite people on the planet, and I loved him like a brother. He truly cared for the people around him — his decency shone through everything he did. Every time I saw him or spoke with him, my spirits were elevated." Actor John Shipp remembered Conroy and wrote, "Heartbroken at the passing of my decades-long friend from the early days of our careers—both amazed at finding ourselves closely identified with superheroes - the late great Kevin Conroy. Much love to Kevin’s family and friends. You are honored, Kevin, and missed already."

What was Kevin Conroy's net worth?

Kevin Conroy voiced Batman for decades and it looks like Warner Bros. paid him well. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the voice actor was worth a staggering $10 million, a fortune which he can credit to Batman and on-screen appearances like 'Another World', 'Search for Tomorrow', 'Dynasty', 'Tour of Duty', and 'Island City'. The actor graduated from Julliard and kicked off his acting career in the late 1970s with various roles in front of the camera at the time. However, his true stardom and stability were with voice acting only. Apart from voicing batman, Conroy also landed a gig in the 2019 series 'Scooby-Doo' and in 'Masters of the Universe'.
