Warning: Spoilers for 'Secret Invasion' Episode 3

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marvel’s ‘Secret Invasion’ has now entered the last leg of its season. With three big episodes yet to air, the comic book giant will look to end the series on a high, expecting a thunderous reception from fans. To accomplish this feat, the stage was adequately set in the first three episodes when we saw Nick Fury returning to Earth to resolve a problem he helped create. The Skrulls have gathered under a new leader, Gravik, who has promised them a home that Fury didn’t deliver when he enlisted the help of the Skrulls in exchange for saving Earth.

Gravik plans to end humanity by igniting a World War. Fury is helpless and the only person who stands with him is Talos, a former General of the Skrull army, who is on the side of the humans in this war. So far, Fury has lost Agent Maria Hill and Talos seems to have lost his daughter, G’iah, who fed him information to prevent an attack that could have escalated into an all-out war on Earth. Colonel Rhodes wants to arrest Fury while his wife Priscilla, a Skrull, has wavering loyalties. Despite foiling an attack on the UN delegate at the end of Episode 3, Fury and Talos were in no position to fight an army of shapeshifting Skrulls, especially when they have taken positions in governmental organizations across the planet.

When will ‘Secret Invasion' Episode 4 release?

Marvel’s ‘Secret Invasion’ Episode 4 will air on Wednesday, July 12, at 3 am EST.

How to watch 'Secret Invasion' Episode 4?

What to expect from 'Secret Invasion' Episode 4?

Gravik outsmarts G’iah and exposes her as the informant who had been peddling information to Fury and Talos. He planned the attack on the UN delegate to bring out the traitor and then shoots her when she attempts to flee his compound. Talos is unaware of this and when he learns about it, Gravik finds he is standing on unsteady ground.

The fight is much more personal for Talos now and the former Skrull General will stop at nothing to avenge his daughter. Fury's main objective is to locate the Skrulls who have taken up influential positions across the world, and expose them. After locating these Skrulls, Fury will seek Colonel Rhodes' help to fight them and maybe call the Avengers and disabuse the idea that he could fight the Skrulls without them. However, Fury may face another battle at home as Priscilla reaches out to Gravik for unknown reasons.

What happened in 'Secret Invasion' Episode 3?

Episode 3 saw Fury and Talos making amends after the former lashed out at the latter for withholding information about the number of Skrulls on Earth. However, the highlight of the episode was Gravik exposing G’iah as the traitor to their cause. Turns out, it was G’iah who informed the police about Brogan in the previous episode and now, she made her way into one of the chambers of the Skrull compound, retrieved a code and gave it to her father to avoid an attack on a UN delegate that could spark World War III. Even though the attack was foiled by Talos and Fury, G’iah had to pay for it with her life. Gravik apprehended her when she was fleeing and shot her. The attack on humans has only been delayed as Gravik now has no one to stop him until Fury and Talos manage to come up with something in the remaining episodes.
