Beverly Hills Film Festival 2026: Sons of Anarchy’s Theo Rossi teases new romcom with ‘Schitt's Creek’ star
The Beverly Hills Film Festival 2026 saw marquee names attend the decorated event, and one of them was 'Sons of Anarchy' star Theo Rossi. The actor was in attendance for the screening of 'Come with Me'. The film was met with positive acclaim. Rossi plays Simon Ward, a working-class man who falls under the spell of a rhetoric-spewing radio host, Damon Kirby (Ron Perlman). Directed by Aaron Harvey, based on a script by Harvey and Jonathan Croom, the film sees Ward's life unravel around him after his new attitude creates problems at his work.
During the event, the actor teased what was on his list next. "I'm doing a romcom right now, which is a whole new different genre for me," Rossi revealed. I'm really excited [its] with the great Emily Hampshire from 'Schitt's Creek' and written by the great writer-director Jenna Lorenzo. It's called 'Maid of Dishonor', so we're doing that romcom." At the time of writing, there is no word on when the film will be released or the stage of production it is currently in. Much about the plot and cast is under wraps as well. It is worth noting that a book of the same name by Gracie Ruth Mitchell, though there is no confirmation that the Hampshire-Rossi starrer is an adaptation of the novel.
Earlier, Rossi took to Instagram to share his excitement about 'Come with Me' that aired at the Film Festival. "Last night was special. COME WITH ME closed out the Beverly Hills Film Festival. This one isn’t easy. It’s unsettling. The kind that lingers and makes you question things you’d rather not. Appreciate everyone who leaned into it with us," he wrote.
'Come with Me' also stars Ronnie Gene Blevins as Gary Parker, Kate French as Rebecca, Randall Michael Sirow as Dave, and Marion Kerr as Angela Parker. After becoming a household name for his portrayal of Juan Carlos "Juice" Ortiz in FX's hit series, 'Sons of Anarchy', Rossi went on to star in major roles, including Hernan "Shades" Alvarez in 'Luke Cage', Dr. Julian Rush in 'The Penguin', and voicing Senator Larik in 'Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi'. His film credits include 'Red Sands', 'Bad Hurt', 'Vault', and 'Lowriders'.
