'Schitt's Creek' is in its sixth and final season and it's finally getting the recognition it deserves. The cast has been enjoying the success of their show's final season, including their SAG Awards nominations. At the awards red carpet, MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) caught up with 'Schitt's Creek' star Emily Hampshire, who plays Stevie Budd on the show.

Hampshire was thrilled to be meeting her idols on the red carpet. "It's crazy," she said, "because you think you're gonna meet somebody that's your idol, and then somebody who you never even thought of before that is - like, Nicole Kidman comes out of nowhere and Kelly Clarkson."

"At the SAG Awards, Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson," she continued, losing her voice for a moment in the excitement, "came to our table! And were like, 'We want to sit at this table.'"

Clearly, she has been enjoying this new experience, just like her fellow cast members from 'Schitt's Creek' are. "I think all of us are, because we've been doing this show for so long and it's only become popular near the end, we're kind of like, I don't know - hillbillies. Pop us on the red carpet, and we're like, 'Oh my god, Glenn Close, oh my god.' Like, it's crazy."

When asked whether she would be ready to work with Dan Levy in any of his upcoming projects, Hampshire was very enthusiastic. "I think we're all gonna work together again at some point. We genuinely like each other." She added, "I'd be part of, like, if Dan threw a party, I would go and sit on the couch and eat his food and stuff but yeah, I'd do anything. He's amazing."

She also talked about the 'Schitt's Creek' series wrap party, which was apparently quite an event in itself. "The real wrap for us - and this is going to sound very crazy to say this - but Dan got a villa in Tuscany for us to say goodbye to each other, and so we all went to Tuscany for like, two weeks, and had our own kind of wrap party, and played games. It was amazing." Of course, it was not the last time the cast saw each other, as they reunite on press tours for Season 6.

The next episode of 'Schitt's Creek' airs January 28 on Pop TV.
