What is 'Mrs Davis' about? Plot of the Peacock sci-fic comedy explained
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Peacock is leaping by dropping a bizarre show that will surely affect the audience. AI tools have become a part of human life. Be it, Siri or Alexa, they are making people's lives better. People at the back of their minds know of them controlling humans in some years. 'Mrs Davis,' a sci-fi series dropping on the streamer, is based on this future prediction.
Co-created by 'Lost' creator Damon Lindelof and 'The Big Bang Theory' writer Tara Hernandez, the sci-fi comedy features Sister Simone, a nun fighting against Mrs Davis, an AI. Emmy nominee Betty Giplin plays the lead role, while her cowboy boyfriend is played by Jake McDorman. 'Mrs Davis' is a war between faith and computers that will premiere with the first four episodes on April 20. The other episodes will air weekly following the release. What is the plot of 'Mrs Davis'?
The official synopsis follows Sister Simone, a nun approached by the users of Mrs Davis, a sentient AI. Mrs Davis assigns Simone with a seemingly impossible mission search for the Holy Grail. However, Simone is suspicious of AI and wants to destroy it instead. Simone is joined by her cowboy ex-boyfriend, Wiley, on the mission.
