'Forky Asks a Question' sees the spork learn about the power of money from Hamm in 'What is Money'
This episode is titled 'What is Money' and it is all about Forky familiarising with money. To do so, he will be needing the help of an expert.
Nobody other than Hamm can explain it better. It is funny how Forky has a wobbly memory.
He can't seem to remember Hamm's name and keeps addressing him with a variety of different names. He even called him Sam despite repeating his name seven times before; it is hilarious!
But wait, is there a more important underlying message that this episode is trying to give out? We see that Forky has a very short attention span, he is easily distracted all the time.
Could it be an underlying mental health issue that is casually slipped in? Anyway, Forky is constantly looking to gain knowledge and he is always mindblown when he gets to dwell deeper into it.
Hamm helps Forky explore the power of money and the things that can money buy, yes, including hair and plastic food supplies.
Forky is a restless little thing who can't have his focus on one place. His mind is always wandering and lost in doing funny things.
But the highlight of the episode was all about how Forky was able to apply the tactics of friendship. It was something he had learned in the previous episode with 'What No'. It was really sweet of him to refer to Hamm as his friend.
By the time Hamm reciprocated and appreciated it, Forky gets lost in some funny business and his quest to find out more about money comes to an end.
In the previous chapter, we see Forky understand the value of friendship with the cup. He learned some interesting lessons and makes for an engaging watch.
