NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The reunion episodes of 'The Real Housewives of New York City' revival were full of extremely weird feelings after a wonderfully refreshing and invigorating first season.

Brynn Whitfield's situation didn't turn out well in particular after she said, "I'm half-Black, and I'm half-Irish," after an argument with co-star Ubah Hassan.

During the 'RHONY' Part 2 Reunion, which aired on October 29, Andy Cohen was intrigued by the video of Ubah going over to Jenna Lyon's apartment and being furious since she hadn't been informed that cameras would be recording that day.

When Jenna attempts to explain how she addressed this in her confessional, claiming "I got a taste of Ubah Hot when she came over," Ubah objects.

Jenna seemed to be hinting that she was "furious," whereas Ubah would just like to express that she was "assertive." When she tried to clarify that on the couch, Brynn told her that she was being "furious" rather than "assertive."

Ubah said angrily, "Amore, maybe you don’t know how to be loved, or how to stand up for yourself."

Brynn snaps her off here, "Watch your f*****g mouth. I’m not afraid of you. You put people in the hospital, I put people in the funeral home. I’m half-Black, and I’m half-Irish, you don’t want to f**k with me."

Ubah just instructed Brynn to stop talking, and the entire group sought to explain the details.

Viewers seemed to have taken offense to Brynn's comments as they took to X to write, "Brynn referencing she’s half-Black when it’s time to get aggressive and show how dangerous she can be…. Hmm and against a Black woman at that, but never this moxie with anyone else."

Another viewer chimed in, "The worst part about this is that Brynn (white & black) and Sai (afro Latina), did not have Ubah’s back when it came to the way in which her cast mates described how Ubah was responding. And in fact, I think they gave credence to it with their respectability politics."

One user further slammed the Bravo star adding, "Brynn: I’m half Black and Irish. Don’t f with me Brynn 2 seconds later: …What does Africa have to do with anything, Ubah? I don’t like this bitch."

A fourth user noted, "Me when Brynn says when someone asks her her race she says black now… Only a person who is as white passing as Brynn would have the privilege to suddenly decide to say she’s Black."

Calling out Brynn for her response, one wrote, "Brynn’s comebacks are soooo cringe… “I’m half Black and half Irish” umm ok…?" While one threw jab at her saying, "Ubah’s face when Brynn said she’s black."

During the fourth episode of Season 14, Brynn disclosed she was biracial when her hair stylist praised her curly hair.

"My mom’s white, my dad’s Black. My father and his family were never in the picture, so I definitely missed out on having the support and exposure to a strong Black community," she said in an interview.

Her nationality was disclosed in her entire bio, which was shared by The Hollywood Reporter. It goes on to say, "Originally from a small town in the Midwest, Brynn was raised by her grandmother, who taught her invaluable lessons about navigating life, owning her narrative as a bi-racial woman, and the true meaning of hard work."

While she generally wears her hair down and wavy, the fashionista has shown off her natural hair, which is a curly afro, on social media. According to We Got This Covered, she is half Black.

In Season 14, Episode 4, 'The Most Brynnteresting Girl in the Room,' Brynn flaunted her natural afro while visiting her hairdresser.

Brynn told her stylist that she was often teased for her thick, long hair as a youngster and that her white grandmother struggled with managing her hair as a child, finally sending her to Black hair salons.

During the program, Brynn commented, "My poor grandma didn’t know how to figure it out. I would go to school, and the kids would make fun of me because I went to an all-white school in Indiana."
