The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ is slowly and steadily inching toward the conclusion of Season 1 and things are getting pretty intense in Middle Earth as the stage has finally been set for the battle. The first four episodes did a phenomenal job of establishing the characters and making us a part of their journey. The ending of the fourth episode made it clear that Numenor, along with Galadriel, is ready to sail to The Southlands to defeat the evil forces of Adar. Meanwhile, Episode 5 was all about our antagonist making his first move to take the stakes even higher.

The people who made their way to the high tower decided to bow down to Adar because one of the old men, who was seen having a discussion about Sauron with Theo in Episode 4, made everyone believe that they won’t be able to fight the evil because it’s so powerful. As soon as they bow down, Adar, along with his army of Orcs, walks toward the High Tower to claim what he intends to.

Only three episodes remain in the first season of the Amazon fantasy series and there’s still so much to unravel. With everything happening on the show, it seems the last three episodes will primarily focus on the battle that is set to take place in the Southlands against Adar and his army. It’ll be interesting to see if Sauron makes an entry in these episodes or not because we certainly believe that Adar is NOT Sauron.

Also, will we see any major character losing their life while being at war? Anything can happen in Middle Earth and we are all in to see what happens next.
