'Welcome To Plathville': Kim and Barry reveal they don't want Olivia and Ethan around other siblings when they are not present
Kim and Barry Plath are all set to celebrate their 22nd wedding anniversary and on this special occasion, the pair decided to head out for a day together. However, they decided to give the responsibility of all the Plath children to their 16-year-old daughter, Lydia as they worried that Olivia and Ethan may not be the best people to give the responsibility to.
Kim and Olivia have had their differences ever since Olivia married Ethan. Unlike Kim, Olivia sees life differently and believes that one should have the freedom to try anything and everything. However, Kim does not feel the same. She believes that her children would benefit from the values and teaching that they are taught at present and the world does not have much to offer.
Before leaving, Kim revealed that there is one rule that they follow with their children and that is Olivia and Ethan not being present in the house unless they are there. Kim further added that she is not too fond of Olivia's teaching and believes that younger children would be inspired to live life in the same way.
Recently, Kim and Barry allowed Moriah to go to California with Olivia. While the pair was hesitant at first they realized that the best they could do was to make sure that they allow Moriah to give her the freedom that she had been craving while hoping that she would realize the importance of her family and find her way back.
However, after returning from her trip Moriah opened up about wanting to go back to California and how there is a different world outside their farm. Kim grew more concerned about how Olivia's lifestyle was slowly running off on Moriah. She wondered if that would be a problem in the future.
Even though Kim allowed Moriah to be with Olivia, she does not want the same for her other children. To make sure that her children are not influenced or learn any lifestyle that Olivia follows Kim thought it would be better to hand the responsibility to her teenager daughter.
