'Weakest Link': Mark walks away with $59k, shocked fans can't believe the 'weakest player' won the game

Yet another exciting episode of the 'Weakest Link' just aired on NBC. A whopping sum of $150,000 is up for grabs on each episode of the show, however, it depends on the players as to how much they can bank and unfortunately, this episode saw the players only being able to bank $59,000. Almost every player that featured in the October 19 episode was a weak link in some or the other way with a lot of them fumbling before answering questions and then just blurting out the wrong response when they did.

The final two players that remained standing till the end included Mary and Mark, the weakest of the lot, competing for the final prize money that they had little to no contribution banking. "#WeakestLink Never forget that the final 2 tonight was a guy who thought Method Man was in Boyz II Men vs. a lady who thought the stars on the flag were red white & blue," wrote an upset fan about Mark and Mary.

Mary's presence in the finale was a bit surprising for fans considering the fact she was unable to answer a question regarding the American flag. She was not great with answering the questions but she sure did make some smart decisions in the game, including the one in the penultimate round where she changed her vote from Mark to Abel as the weakest link. She knew Abel would be a tougher competition to boot so she did what she could, however, it didn't help her much as Mark who everyone thought was the weakest right from the beginning aced the final round as well as the tiebreaker, something that the audiences are having a tough time processing.

"I honestly don’t believe it. One of the weakest players I’ve ever seen has just gotten away with $59,000. But, that is the way it goes on this game show. Until next time. #WeakestLink" wrote a fan. "Mark freaking deceived us all and stole the money#WeakestLink," wrote another. "We thought that he was the #WeakestLink from the beginning, but Mark SOMEHOW won the game and 59k!" read another tweet. "AMD MARK WINS!!! OMGGGGG PRETTY MUCH THE WEAKEST PLAYER OF THE GAME!!! #WeakestLink" wrote another fan.
