How many times did you hold your breath in the penultimate episode of 'Vikings' season 5B? As Floki embarks on his journey inside the cave, determined he will find his gods, Ubbe gears up for a one-on-one combat with the third Danish king. The fight takes place in a circle and it's declared that it is combat till death.
Two enter the ring, only one bound to exit alive. Who will that be? That is when social media came in handy for me, because the tension had soared as the trailer looked less-than-promising for our beloved Ubbe last week, so I thought checking the hashtags as the series aired would perhaps provide the comfort I needed. I was wrong. Almost every 'Vikings' fan retweeted a picture of Ubbe, almost dead.
