'Vikings' season 5 episode 18 review: Lagertha has a momentary madness for the sake of true love

'Baldur' welcomes Lagertha back, and revisits Ragnar Lothbrok's scene in vision and in replication as Ivar affirms his son is not divine
PUBLISHED JAN 17, 2019

Lost, found and recovered — Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) was discovered by Queen Judith (Jennie Jacques)  in a hut in the middle of the forest, holed up, caged and dismissed as a nobody. The old lady who had found her in the woods seemed oblivious to who she was — the "Queen of the Vikings." Thank goodness for Judith who happened to spot her despite her unrecognizable look with a silver bob and dirt-smeared face. The Queen of Wessex wasted no time in attending to Lagertha and her visions answer all our queries ever since she went missing from the battlefield after she saw her ex-lover Bishop Heahmund (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) getting axed to death.
