In today's episode of 'Vanderpump Rules,' Tom Schwartz lost his pet lizard, Daug. He was with him for just three weeks.

The tragic demise of Daug impacted Tom so much so that he held a legit funeral for him by the pool that was attended by his friends, including Stassi Schroeder, Beau Clark, Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval among others. Two pictures of Daug were framed — a solo one and another with Tom in it — and kept at one corner where everyone paid their respects and left their drinks next to Daug's photos as a mark of a send-off.

"His life span was like 15-20 years you know. So I had like a whole life together charted out," he said looking at Daug's photos while being visibly emotional. One could tell he was deeply affected by Daug's sudden death as he said he had become a part of the family and was officially a Schwartz.

"I thought he was just acclimating. He seemed kind of dejected. He was always sleeping, he was lethargic. But when I took him outside, he had great moments where he would really shine," Tom shared with the group present at the funeral and added that he loves Daug. Later, he also revealed that he tried everything in his power to resuscitate him but nothing worked.

While some of his friends didn't know how to react to the funeral setup, Beau was extremely considerate of Tom's feelings and the way he had been impacted by Daug's death. He even asked Stassi not to laugh. "I was there when Schwartz bought Daug and he was chill AF. Just kinda like how Schwartz is," Beau said in his green-room interview.

Meanwhile, fans are being appreciative of the fact that Daug got a well-deserved funeral.

"Daug’s funeral is the greatest moment in VP history #VanderpumpRules," a fan wrote, while another shared: "Schwartz doing a funeral for his lizard Daug is adorable. Pets are pets man #Vanderpumprules."

"I couldn’t tell if Tom was serious but I mourned the loss of my turtle so I get it. RIP Daug  #VanderpumpRules," another expressed. "The memorial to Daug is the most welcome distraction to this pandemic I never knew I needed #PumpRules #vanderpumprules," a user posted.
