‘Unexpected’ Spoilers: Reanna struggles to get C-section with Covid-19 rules while Myrka is ready to give birth
On the next episode on ‘Unexpected’ Season 4, which was shot earlier last year, we will see the cast members are just hit with the coronavirus lockdown. Not just that, some precautions taken by the hospitals will drastically affect some of their lives.
Reanna, who was getting ready for her C-section delivery, just got the news that hospitals would not be performing C-sections anymore as part of the impending coronavirus rules and regulations.
Previously, we have seen Reanna has a complicated situation of anoplasty. Reanna has had anoplasty done when she was little. It is a surgery that involves closing any small tube-like openings (fistulas), creating an anal opening and putting the rectal pouch into the anal opening. Due to this complication, she is unable to deliver normally and has to get a C-section. As of the current situation she had no idea how she was going to deliver her baby.
Myrka, on the other hand, just had a brawl with her mother Lilliana on the January 17 episode. Lilliana confessed that she was willing to be nice to her daughter as long as she didn’t have to take any responsibility. She said when she found out that Myrka was pregnant, she wasn’t sure if Ethan’s parents were going to take her responsibility, after seeing that they were, she had no problem to drop in every now and then and be supportive of her daughter.
When asked if she felt bad about being unkind and unsupportive of her in the beginning Lilliana said she was taking time to process her daughter’s pregnancy and the fact that she was going to be a grandmother at 30 years old.
But all that went out of the window when Myrka posted a status on facebook saying, “I’m not saying I’m proud, but I'm not ashamed all the time,” and Lilliana chose to shame her daughter on social media along with all the negative comments that she was already receiving.
Myrka called her mother up while she was in the car with Ethan and his parents and they got into a big fight which ended with Lilliana hanging up on her and Myrka breaking down into tears.
In the next episode the doctors inform Myrka that she is ready for delivery of her child. While Myrka had no interest in contacting her mother, Ethan’s parents felt that Lilliana should show some support while they were taking care of her financially. Amid all the tension Myrka would be feeling stressed and a burden of Ethan’s parents.
