'House Of Payne' Season 9 Episode 16 Preview: Ella and Curtis to experience vape pen, will they get addicted?
Everyone's favourite 'Tyler Perry's House Of Payne' is back, and we're still on the vape pen that was found in Jazmine's (China Anne McClain) pocket. In the upcoming episode, Ella (Cassi Davis) and Curtis (LaVan Davis) are going to experience the vape pen and have some rather bizarre hallucinations.
In the previous episode, we saw Jazmine's boyfriend, Kaleb, whom CJ (Allen Payne) and Janine (Demetria McKinney) do not particularly approve of as they fear he's a drug addict. A furious CJ throws him out of the house, and Jazmine is quite upset about the whole situation. At the end of the episode, her parents explain to her that they love her, but drugs are bad. This whole rigmarole began back in Episode 14, when Janine and CJ discovered weed and mints in Jazmine's pocket, while planning Ella's birthday party. Ella finds the vape pen. Considering that she works at the help center, she knows just what exactly vape pens are, and the entire family is rather anxious about Jazmine. Ironically, they weren't too rattled when Malik (Doc Shaw) brought home his stripper girlfriend, Lisa.
The synopsis for Episode 16 reads, "Ella calls Floyd to help her with Curtis. Ella finds the vape pen. Both Curtis and Ella experience hallucinations with a vape pen."
Meanwhile, what's the update on Calvin (Lance Gross) and Miranda (Keshia Knight Pulliam)? In Episode 9, Calvin brought a new girl home, Laura, to meet his parents. This culminated in an awkward run-in with his ex-wife, Miranda. Laura learns about the relationship between Calvin and Miranda and decides to leave him. In Episode 10, a frustrated Calvin kicks Miranda out of the house, much to Ella's disappointment. Nevertheless, the two even shared a kiss that seemed to be conveniently forgotten later. Calvin seems ready to marry Laura, and Miranda caught them kissing, so their long drama might have just come to an end. For the unversed, Miranda and Calvin shared an unhealthy relationship back in the early days of 'House Of Payne', till she finally decided to divorce him.
