Contains spoilers for 'True Detective' season 3

Now we know that 'True Detective' is just on its third episode and it is probably too soon to say for sure who the killer and/or abductor is but there's one name that seems like a pretty reliable bet - Wayne Hays' wife Amelia Reardon.

She is a former activist and school teacher, who grew up in Arkansas and really seems to care about the town but there's something about Amelia that doesn't sit right. Maybe it's the fact that she seems utterly disinterested in the case yet finds a way to get involved in it? It's like she's trying to slip herself into the middle of the investigation like an ally without looking too eager. However, we know that she had successfully immersed herself in the case since she became a popular author after writing multiple books about it.
