'True Beauty' Finale: How to stream Hwang In-yeop's OST of 'Starlight', fans say they 'need the song'
'True Beauty' Korean drama may have ended on February 4 and on a sad note for fans who had hoped for Seo-jun would end up with Ju-kyung, but one scene that stole everyone's hearts in the finale episode was that of Hwang In-yeop as Seo-jun singing a song called 'Starlight'. This was a song that Su-ho had composed along with their friend Se-yeon when Se-yeon had still been alive.
However, after Se-yeon killed himself, resulting in a rift between Seo-jun and Su-ho, this song was buried. Now, with Seo-jun ready to make his debut, Ju-kyung's sister who knows of the existence of the song because she had tracked it down to it being composed by Leo aka Su-ho, suggests that he compose it as Seo-jun's debut song. After thinking many times and wondering if this would be right by Se-yeon, he agrees and reworks the song that was composed for Se-yeon. The original song was sung in real life by SF9 member Chani who also portrayed the role of Se-yeon in the show.

However, now, this song is reworked by Su-ho and sung by Seo-jun at the very end. Fans want access to this reworked song as the other is already available on Spotify, here.
The song sung in real life by Hwang In-yeop is expected to be made available soon as the actor did tease recording the song a few days ago on Instagram when he shared a picture of himself in the studio. So the rearranged version should be released officially soon. Until then, however, fans have taken to sharing the video grab from the episode.
Sharing how much the OST, especially the song featured in the climax worked for them, fans on Reddit are waiting to get their hands on it soon. One fan in fact helped to offer fellow members in acquiring the official OST and wrote, "If y’all are gonna miss the drama as much as me, join me in getting the OST album!! i’m holding a group order to help alleviate shipping."
A fan who had posted a long note about the show wrote "Okay, this is getting super long but one major last thing I wanted to mention is about Suho composing Seojun's debut song for him! This is EXACTLY what I wanted and I'm glad that we got it. Ugh the fact that the first half of the song is a tribute to Seyeon and then the second half of the song is Suho recomposing the song and making it more upbeat. I Love It! They are releasing that as an OST right? Right?!?! I need that song! I do like how the drama didn't forget about the whole Suho x Seyeong x Seojun storyline and intertwined that with Seojun's debut. We can see how impactful Seojun's debut stage is for Su-ho and Seo-jun, as they are both tearing up."
It is not only 'Starlight' and its other version, but the song titled 'I'm missing you' by Sunjae has also been enjoyed by fans. One fan wrote, "I’m already singing ‘I’m missing youuuuu... waiting for youuuuuuu’ for the final episode. I find that they’re really trying to cram in some last minute drama in these past two episodes for whatever reason. I hope they will tie it all up nicely."
