'Tribes of Europa' Full Cast List: Meet Henriette Confurius, Oliver Masucci and the rest of the actors in German Netflix show
‘Tribes of Europa’, a new German sci-fi Netflix series, takes place in the year 2074, in the wake of a mysterious global disaster, as war rages between the Tribes that have emerged from the wreckage of Europe. The story follows three siblings from the peaceful Origine tribe -- Kiano, Liv, and Elja -- who are separated and forced to forge their own paths in an action-packed fight for the future of this new Europa.
When an Atlantian pilot crashes near a village of the Origines, he is chased by a troop of Crows under their leader Lord Varvara. She wants to take control of the mysterious cube from the wreck. The warriors kill the villagers and take the rest prisoners, among them, Jakob and his son Kiano. But they fail to get hold of the cube because the dying pilot managed to give it to Kiano’s brother Elja covertly.

Elja has to promise the pilot that he will return the cube to the Atlantians as it contains records of enormous importance, a message on which the fate of the entire human race depends. Thanks to Moses, Elja manages to escape from the Crows and together they embark on an adventurous journey through Europe in the year 2074 -- in search of the legendary Ark, the clandestine base of the Atlantians.
Elja’s and Kiano’s sister Liv survives the attack seriously injured and is saved by David Voss and his elite soldiers from the Crimson Republic. With the help of captured Crow warrior Grieta -- she wants to make it to the Crow metropolis Brahtok to free her family -- a mission almost impossible. While the three siblings have to find their own way, the fight for the predominance of the tribes reaches a new dimension.

Henriette Confurius as Liv
The 30-year-old German actor is known for her roles in ‘Mein erstes Wunder’, ‘Die Gräfin’, ‘Allerleirauh’, and ‘Das kalte Herz’. Her most recent TV role was in the 2020 limited series ‘Die verlorene Tochter’.
Oliver Masucci as Moses
The 52-year-old German actor is best known for the role of Adolf Hitler in the 2015 film adaptation of the satirical novel ‘Er Ist Wieder Da’ and for portraying Ulrich Nielsen in the 2017 Netflix original series ‘Dark’. Masucci most recently portrayed German film director Rainer Werner Fassbinder in the 2020 film ‘Enfant Terrible’.
David Ali Rashed as Elja
The 19-year-old German actor made his film debut in ‘Ute Wieland’s Tigermilch’ in 2016. His other notable roles include films like ‘Tatort: Amour Fou’ and ‘Das perfekte Geheimnis’ and the apocalyptic series ‘8 Tage’.
Emilio Sakraya as Kiano
The 25-year-old German actor started his career at the age of nine. His debut film was ‘Zeiten ändern dich’. He’s also appeared in films and shows like ‘V8- Du willst der Beste sein’, ‘Mitten in Deutschland: NSU - Die Opfer’, ‘Die 7. Stunde’, ‘4 Blocks’, ‘Rock my Heart’, ‘Tatort - Söhne und Väter’, ‘Heilstätten’, and more. His notable performances include playing Tarik Schmüll in the German film series ‘Bibi and Tina’.
Melika Foroutan as Varvara
The 45-year-old German-Iranian actor studied Drama at the Berlin University of the Arts. Her notable roles include starring in the award-winning crime series ‘KDD – Kriminaldauerdienst’ (2007 -2010), Frank Schätzing adaption ‘Die dunkle Seite’, Wim Wenders’ ‘Palermo Shooting’, the ‘Louise Boni’ series, and more.
James Faulkner as General Cameron
The 72-year-old British actor is best known for playing Pope Sixtus IV in the television series ‘Da Vinci's Demons’, Randyll Tarly in the HBO television series ‘Game of Thrones’, and Saint Paul in the film ‘Paul, Apostle of Christ’. Faulkner’s other notable roles include ‘Underworld: Blood Wars’, ‘Atomic Blonde’, ‘The Alienist’, and ‘Downton Abbey’.
The show also stars Ana Ularu as Grieta, Robert Finster as David, Benjamin Sadler as Jakob, Jannik Schümann as Dewiat, and Jeanette Hain as Amena. ‘Tribes of Europa’ is set to premiere on Netflix on February 19, 2021.
